Misconstrued

Today, the coworker I've had a crush on for the past few months asked me if I was busy Friday night. I was so excited, I immediately replied, "I thought you'd never ask!" He gave me a funny look and said, "Good, because I need you to take my shift." FML

Tell him your so exited about it because you need extra money It removes the awkwardness

Say you'll do it if he'll take you out next Friday.

But next time what if she says no thinking its for her to take another shift then its still a lose lose

When you assume, you make an ass out of u & me! Ass u me!

Personally, my response to that would have been "Well, in that case, yes. I'm busy that night. I just made plans for my night off." ;)

See, he can only ASK you to take his shift. You can TELL him to go **** himself.

This is why you should respond to "Are you busy next Friday?" with "Why do you ask?" Well, at least you'll be earning a little extra money. Or you can lie the next day and say something came up so, no, you can't take his shift.
