That was a pretty damn rude comment for her to make. Hopefully in the future, assuming this incident wasn't the death knell for your relationship, she'll let you know in a kind, constructive way what she likes and how you can make things more enjoyable for her.

That happened my first time. I lost my virginity and thought, what a waste. I never told the guy that, but I wondered why so many people my age the were having sex if that was all it was. I found a guy to satisfy me forever though years later.
