Hate to say it, but most of these “I’m not ready to settle” or “Long distance is too hard” or “I’m not looking for something serious right now,” has an unspoken “with you,” tacked on on the end. It’s about it not being the right person for them to make that level of commitment. It sucks, but that’s how dating can be.
