Assuming you were asking about your first day early, and not days after you were supposed to have started working - It’s not a bad thing to be seen as eager to start your job. I don’t think they will hold that against you. I assume you had an offer letter or you replied specifying your start date. With that information in your hand, you should have put that on your calendar with appropriate reminders. Then you wouldn’t have suffered this panic attack.
