Today, I’m going to the pre-op appointment for my second hip replacement before the age of 35. My first was at 23. The doctors have no idea why I have the arthritic hips of an 80 year-old. FML.

You might want to get in contact with the osteo doctors of University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, U.S. They've been working on something similar to what you're describing.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that! And I wish you the best of luck. I had my first hip replacement at 21, but that was after a drunk driver hit my original left hip, and I really hope to avoid any more body part replacements.
