Today, my rather large boss told me how the company needs to save money, how we are going downhill fast, even suggesting that we might go bankrupt very soon. He then went on to ask me to go get him some very expensive scotch using the company credit card to, "help him cope with the stress." FML

Personally id be careful he doesn't try to pin the blame of the finances in you via "he has been using company funds to buy liquor"

Hi everyone, loving some of the comments. Just to clear up my reason for saying "rather large"; my boss large to the point that it is affecting his health. I agree though maybe I shouldn't have put that part in, but I was trying to show the kind of person he is; indulges in expensive food and drink (and plenty of it), and then complains that the company is struggling for money!
