How long is your pool? 25 yards? I can swim two laps with no breath.
Boohoo 50 laps is nothing you pussy
I remember when I was 13 and going for my Bronze Cross, one of the requirements was to swim 20 (or so) 25 metre laps in under 15 minutes. To go 50 laps continuously with no pressure of a time limit sounds easy. Although, you didn't deserve do have to do it simply because the class before you was displeasing to your coach.
While 50 laps is a lot, it really just depends on the pace. That's only about two sets of 500's should only take 10-15 mins at Max.
look at it this way chicks dig a swimmers body and when the girls are all over you thank him for the extra 50 laps
I feel your pain. My coach did the same thing to us
Ouch. My high school swim coach had "Fly for Fun Fridays" They were not fun. All Butterfly, nonstop. We did at least 50 laps each Friday. Plus, our "warm up" was a 500yds of just freestyle, then a 500 of just kicking, and a 500 of just using your arms. Then we got to the fun stuff. I was in the best shape of my life those 4 years lol.
What an ass. Either way he's the teacher, it's his fault they can't swim.
Look on the bright side at-least you are building some muscle
