Today, I found out that a water pipe at my work had burst over the weekend. There is absolutely no water in the building, including the bathrooms. It's a 9-hour day, and I took a laxative this morning before I came in. FML

Today, we had to turn the water off due to a massive leak in the kitchen sink that the plumber was currently fixing. I managed to wait two hours before my uncooperative digestive tract said it couldn't wait any longer and I had to take a mega dump in the bathroom. I couldn't flush the toilet or wash my hands. FML

Today, my work finally hired someone to replace some leaky pipes. I work in the basement by myself, and just as I walked under the newly-fixed pipes, I got soaked with what appeared to be water. Apparently it was connected to a toilet. My boss couldn't find a replacement, so they made me work covered in piss. FML

Today, I woke up to find that there has been a water main break in my neighborhood and there is no running water until the break is located and fixed. I had chili with beans late last night and it is wreaking havoc with my lower gastrointestinal tract, and the toilet won't flush. FML

Today, at work I had to spend 2 hours cleaning up stinky toilet water. Why? Because yesterday, I forgot to turn on the septic tank pumps. The tank overflowed, and so did all the toilets. My boss is not happy. FML

Today, my apartment building shut off our water for a short period of time because the pipes were being worked on. It was also the morning my dog had diarrhea on my cream carpet. Not only did I have to clean it up without water, I couldn't wash my hands afterward. FML

Today, while using the bathroom I gave the toilet a courtesy flush, only for it to overflow and soak my pants. That would've been bad enough even if I hadn't been at work, with five hours left on my shift and no change of clothes. FML

i'm by no means certain, but i'm pretty sure its probably illegal to make you work in a building that doenst have water and toliets...i may be wrong..but i do remember hearing something like that..atleast in the UK, but also..why would you take a laxative before you went to work?

There's so much wrong with this that it has to be fake. It's illegal to make someone work in a location with no restrooms (or if you work on a boardwalk or a fair or something you have to be within like 500ft of a public bathroom), AND why would you ever take laxatives before work? False and fail and you suck.

The law doesn't make it illegal to work somewhere when an accident such as a burst pipe has occurred, numbnuts. The place has bathrooms, they're just out of order temporarily until the pipe is fixed.

It's illegal to require them to be there, or to fire them for refusing to work under such conditions.

Who takes a laxative before work any ways. Running water or not. couldn't you have taken it on your way home from work so you could keep your business at home? Yucky!
