Today, as I was doing the morning count for the registers, a lady walked by and saw me. She's got Alzheimer's, and thought I was robbing the guy I'd bought the store from, so she called the cops. I spent six hours in jail while they looked into it, and didn't even get an apology. FML

Today, at work, I had a customer accuse me of taking the giftcard I had issued her for her return, after spending 15 minutes trying to fix her screwed up transaction. She began to yell, and follow me around the store. Security had to intervene and I had to be locked in an office until she left. FML

Today, I was shopping with my husband. At the self-checkout, one of the items I was buying for him as a gift didn’t register. As we were walking out, I get stopped and escorted to the loss prevention office, where I was accused of stealing. FML

Today, I went to the store, but after I'd selected my items, I saw that I'd forgotten my wallet. When I tried to explain to the cashier, he thought that I was trying to steal and called the cops. My roommate had to come to the store to save me. FML

Today, while bagging my groceries at a store, a lady came over to me, took a good look at the food I'd bought, picked out an item and put it in her bag. When I confronted her, she called security on me and told them I wanted to steal her stuff. I got thrown out and she walked away with a smirk. FML

Today, while covering lunch for the self-checkout host, I noticed a customer walking away. I smiled and said, "Have a nice night!" A few minutes later, I saw that she'd left without paying on her machine. I'd smiled and waved at a lady as she stole from me. FML

Today, I was at the supermarket when an elderly lady asked if I'd grab some coffee for her from a high shelf. The moment I took my hands off my almost-full shopping cart, she made off with it. I ended up getting thrown out by security after she claimed I was trying to steal it from her. FML

Today, in a market, an old lady stood beside me for a few moments, not saying a word, before turning to me and screaming that I'd taken the money out of her purse. Security was called and I was given the ultimatum to either go to jail or give her the money back. Now I have no food for next week. FML

How can this even be true? The OP says "bought the store from", suggesting the OP owns the store. Surely it'd only take 20 seconds tops to demonstrate ownership of the place? Hell, even if it's just jangling the store's keys at the cops. Six hours in jail either didn't happen, is a gross exageration, or the OP got abusive.

Dont feel bad one time when I was skating in my friends driveway we decided to skate his car like in the magazines. his neighbour called the cope on us and we were stuck in jail for 3 days until we could provide proof that he owned the car.

Well thanks for settling that, krhds25. Obviously, every business in the world follows exactly the same procedures as your grocery store and since that is not the case here this definitely cannot be true. How silly of us.

wow. this juss solidifies my opinion that all pigs suk. i wouldnt hold my breath for that apology, either. they might juss arrest you for hogging up all the air. dumb pigs.
