fml i still have to pay the student loans i racked up while educating myself all by myself....just like i had always planned. even if there was nothing initially expected, the envelope and what the aunt said would only spike excitment for a minute until the envelope was open. so fml bc for a second i was excited then didnt get what i thought i was going to for that one minute? thats called life and yours isnt f'ed

Honestly, you should be able to pay for your own loans....Unless you went to a private school or out of state, they should be managable. I take full responsibility of my loan and I don't expect a cent from anyone.

YDI, they don't have to give you money and they were trying to help out. Sure the money would have been nice, but you shouldn't assume they will give it to you.

What i want to know is how you have a husband, and most likely kids, and how you have student loans? Unless your a ******* doctor which your not, ur husband obviously pays bill becuase you NEED to pay offf the loans that apparently arent helping u, it might be me, but everyone in my family payed off all there loans, maybe its cuz were rich, but who knows?

The only way this is a FML is if they promised to give you money to help pay your student loans off and then gave you the article. Since you didn't say that you just come off as GREEDY. YDI because you don't deserve any of their money.
