Today, it's my birthday. I'd asked my mom weeks ago if she could watch my kids, so my husband and I could go celebrate. She told me an hour before we were supposed to leave I'd have to reschedule, so she could watch my brother's kids while he goes out for fun. Gee, thanks mom. FML

I'm a gamer, so I understand the schedule issue if it's like a preset time like WoW raids. HOWEVER, most of those online groups schedule around holidays of all kinds, so either your kids and wife are shit, or you're shit. Either way, someones shit and y'all didn't have a nice dinner so that's shit.
