So he’s talking to other girls. So what? I was married to my bride for 42 years until I lost her to COVID. I still have a lot of friends who just so happen to be female. Some of them I’ve been close friends for literally years. It’s always been platonic. Just friends.

I don't think that's the kind of "talking" she means. She's probably referring to the pre-dating phase where you're interested in each other. You can refer to Urban Dictionary for more.

Assuming by "talking" you mean romantically and/or sexually engaging with them in a non-platonic sense, it's highly probable that he's poly and doesn't know it. Please find out what sort of lifestyle he wants to live before you get married, for both of your sakes. He needs to know as badly as you do if monogamy is not what he wants.
