There is no such thing as “the one person” or “love of your life”. There are people we love and who love us. And not everyone is compatible no matter how much we want them to be. Let go of a relationship where there is no trust when there is reason to not trust them. Then mourn he loss for an appropriate period of time and move on to finding someone else… It’s not easy to do these things but you aren’t going to find a loving, trustworthy, and compatible relationship until you move on. I am not saying that broken relationships cannot be mended and should be abandoned at the first sign of trouble. But lying about serious issues and trust is a very big deal.
