This might sound crazy and people will probably think I have a death wish, I probably do but knowing myself I would have jumped in. Sharks are my favourite marine animals.
not to mention these sharks would've only been gray nurses and reef sharks, I've swam with them before in aquariums, just misunderstood beautiful creatures

The staff might remove the glasses anyway, as they could be a danger to the sharks. Perhaps ask if they intend to do so, and if you can get your glasses back?

Ahh yes, I too have suffered this pain.
Did you try to get it back? If not at least the sharks will see a little more clearly now.
I would advise leaving them there.
