What are you all talking about, eh? Of course we never lie, that could be considered unfriendly, which is bad for our reputation. Obviously the boyfriend had a good reason, he probably had to repair his igloo or take his polar bear to the vet. Or maybe he was just playing hockey and getting drunk on Keith's.
