Today, my window got busted and won't shut properly. I live in a college dorm room and maintenance says they can't fix it for a couple of days. It's below freezing in my dorm and I can see my breath while trying sleep. FML

No point in complaining to us. Either suck it up, or call the college and complain so much about how u pay a ridiculous amount and its unacceptable and eventually they might give in. Threaten to have your dad sue, or get your mom or dad to call...but you should probably just suck up.

I thought college student was smart than high schooler, my bad for giving too much credit. Well a band aid solution is use your computer as a heater or at least gaming. Permanent solution card board (ask your local stores free) and tape (tape .99 cent at the dollar store) the ****** up and use some damn insulation foam, too poor to even buy tape?????

that's when you complain! have your parents call the school, or you call the housing authorities and file a complaint. demand that they cover the cost of a hotel until it's fixed. I don't sleep with the window open and it would be very stressful for me to try to sleep. your probably paying good money for that. it's okay don't let the repair guy give you the run around
