OP here! I work in the healthcare field and am back at work. We have a no more than 3 coughing spells per hour rule in place, so a gassy day for me is a dangerous day.

Apply for an emotional support dog, then blame your farts on him.

At least social distancing should keep them out of the direct blast range and possibly lessen the chances of smelling it.
