I’m sorry that happened to you. That was extremely rude and insensitive of the customer. They don’t know what you could be going through. And regardless of if you’re going through anything, it’s still uncalled for.

Been there. The shirt I was wearing must have looked like a maternity blouse or something (didn't get it from that section, I swear)... and after that comment, it went in the donate pile. That is NOT something you ask a woman unless you absolutely know she's pregnant. And even then it's probably better to just keep your mouth shut unless she brings it up.
