The ratio in our room for 1-2 year olds is 1:4!! how were you alone with so many?!
That is actually illegal for there to be 12 kids to one adult so I call BS
OP is from Queensland, Australia. Our centres are strictly regulated so she is probably in one of the 3 to 4 age group rooms where the toddlers are toilet trained so the ratio is 1:12. The rooms below it are all 1:4. Nonetheless, they usually have a second childcare worker in there who was probably on a break.
Don't worry, OP. Toddlers are used to throwing up! Hopefully , they didn't join you and throw up with you ...
I work at a childcare center..In California at least, the ratio for infants and toddlers (Birth -1 year) is 1:4. The ratio for ages 2-5 is 1:12.
Why were you alone? What kind of day care let's one adult be alone with 12 kids?
At least your teaching them to barf in toilets
did it all fit
