I would go to someone higher up. Teachers are supposed to go through trainings and stay up to date on current info so even if their books are old, they can educate you properly. It's not fair for you to be penalized for an incompetent teacher!

Ha , such things happen everyday in China . No one would think the book would be wrong. So students just need to follow the book . No matter you can prove the book is wrong or what. ?
