FYL for someone's idiotic idea to make a giant flashing sign. YDI because it shouldn't take you more than half a second to read it, especially if it's that big and flashy.

Most signs allow you to read it AND look at the road at the same time...

There is no way you don't deserve this for being easily distracted. However what I want to know is, Did you hit another car? I'm not going to jump to the conclusion that you did because i know that you could have swerved to avoid a car at the last second and smashed into a tree or cement barrier at the side of the road. So please OP give clarification as to what the wreck actually entailed.
