Wow ur mom is an idiot
@226: you're actually wrong about birds not being reptiles because they're warm blooded. there are MANY scientists and archaeologists who believe that the Saurischian dinosaurs (those from which birds evolved) were in fact possibly warm blooded. it's waaaaay too much to explain on here, but do a little bit of research and you'll find it. also, i want to point out something. the single defining factor of being classified as a mammal is having mammary glands. it does not matter if you have fur, or give birth to live young, because some lay eggs (monotremes) and other organisms have 'hair' (tarantualas, for instance, though i don't believe it's true hair). as for the archaeopteryx, it was the precursor to the avian group. it did not fly. it's feathers were used for gliding, and possibly also temperature regulation and courtship practices. ALSO. all those features you described for a reptile's characteristics that don't match the birds has a simple reason: the evolutionary path diverged early on. as a matter of fact, reptiles are NOT descendants of dinosaurs, except for those in the crocodylia family. there was a divergence after the Diapsida, which went split to the Archosaurs that led to today's Avians and crocodiles, and to the Lepidosaurs, which led to today's reptiles. so your statement is, in fact, backwards. birds are the descendants of dinosaurs, but their drastically different characteristics evolved (as they often do) into something more advantageous and suitable for their lifestyle, whereas reptiles aren't related to dinosaurs at all, save that they share a common ancestor, and the characteristics they have (like the eggs and being ectothermic) simply worked for them and there was no need for natural selection to change it. and no, i'm not just spouting random crap. I'm a zoology major and took Vertebrate Biology last semester :P
technically it's a fruit if it comes from the flowering part of the plant, aka bananas are berries
Actually, the banana tree is a giant herb.

74 No matter how you cook a tomato it's still a fruit. If you put lettuce in a parfait does that make it a fruit? If you wear socks outside are they magically shoes? The only time you can transform a fruit into a vegetable is if you completely paralyze Richard Simmons.
