Today, as I was walking home, I felt my feet slip out from under me and I face-planted in the slushy, dirty, melting snow. I rolled over, completely soaked, and attempted to get up, thinking no one saw me. A mail-man then passed me without offering to help, and said, "I've seen worse." FML

I wouldn't say its a YLS...but I would have followed (from afar) the mail man and when they walked into a building or far enough away, I would have knocked over there carrier

Wow, don't feel upset... Just remember, he's a postman. The only place in life he's heading is the mail depot.

Through slush, dirt, melting snow, and people on the ground, the mail man has to do his job.

Why do people feel like others are obligated go help them when they do something stupid like fall down? He's not the one who fell, nor did he cause you to fall, so why the hell do you feel he should have helped you? I know it's common courtesy, but just because he decided not to help you doesn't mean he did anything wrong. Take care of your damn self next time. if you're elderly, I retract my statements. if not, you deserve it for feeling someone had a responsibility to help you.
