um this sucks, but I wouldnt call it an fml

Wow! Does your pier have some form of Slow-Motionifier? I mean, how does a bottle fall in slow-mo in real life? I mean, did you tape yourself dropping it and play it back in slow motion? Seriously, I HAVE to know! This could be a major scientific breakthrough! Plus, I've always wanted to own a Slow-Motionifier... It sounds so cool.

@109 and those complaining about the slow-motion bit: he obviously didn't mean it literally and you're just being douche bags because you knew that. It's a perceived feeling. You've probably never been in a car accident then, because most people who see the other car about to smash into them get this surreal experience and time seems to slow down. Same with any other near death situation. It's a weird feeling...but yeah, to get it when you throw this bottle...that's just...this couple have way too romantic (in the bad way) feelings and thoughts - it's so cheesy it can't even be in a daytime soap opera. Honestly, you should have thought this a little through, this isn't a romance novel - when you throw a bottle down the pier it's just going to come RIGHT back within a few minutes and some teenagers will find it on the shore and laugh at you.

I agree with #3. Littering is not romantic. What was the point of this anyways if you weren't going to see each others messages? For all you know she wrote "my boyfriend is lame and thinks littering is romantic. FML" knowing you would never get to read it. YDI for it exploding on a rock too. Even if you could not see the rock, you shouldn't have used a glass bottle if you didn't plan on it breaking. I want the minute of my life it took to read this back. Seriously, who cares? This has to be the lamest FML I have ever read. I said YDI because you think littering is cool and used a breakable bottle. I also said FML because you must have not had anyone to raise you properly if you think that was smart/cool/romantic. Congratulations. People like you would rather kill the planet for more generations then you could imagine then find an actual romantic way to express your love.

It would be like a sweet romantic scene in a movie then it crashing and burning, I don't know just a random thought. But don't judge your relationship on what happened though.
