Today, yet once again, my autistic son was excluded from fun class activities. So now I have to write "to my friend" on all of his valentines because the teacher never bothered to send home a class list. FML

Get on their backs as much as possible, that's what my mum did for me when I was left out of stuff like the claywork in Art class, although it didn't help when they wouldn't let me do biology... Keep fighting, you'll win sometimes. People are assholes.

having a special needs child can be hard, I have 2 myself, and I've learned over the years that it's not your fault. it's not a FML it's a blessing. Because only the strong can raise a child that needs twice the love, and the blessed are strong.
