Today, three of us were working, one guy wanted to stay for a longer shift and the other wanted to go home; so they ask our manger if they could swap shifts. The manger got pissed and sent both home, guess who got to do all the evening/closing work, fml

...does this manager not understand how bad understaffing is for business or how bad being this stupidly inflexible with staffing schedules is? Or do they know but are also an asshole, or is this the latest event in a series of these two employees wanting sudden changes in scheduling?

Today, I was outside at a café when I looked at my phone. As I did, a woman halfway across the patio started screaming at me, demanding I tell her who I was texting and why. She then sprinted over, furious at me for apparently badmouthing her to somebody. All I did was check the time. FML

Today, I found a picture on my phone of me and my best friend that I didn't take. Turns out my dad did, from behind, and it got onto my Google photo backup, which means that he was logged in to my Gmail from his phone when he did it. And my family wonders why I don't trust them. FML

Today, behind a cabinet, I found a scratch-off lottery ticket I hadn't scratched yet. After scratching it off, I realized it's a $2,500 winner. The lottery commission won't accept it because they stopped using that game 2 years ago. FML
