Omg today my gf was telling me how she doesnt need sunscreen but i do because shes pale and im brown, i cant wait to laugh in her face when she gets burnt from a week long of beaching
Wow your girlfriend is an idiot... How has she gone through life thinking pale people don't need sunscreen? I am incredibly pale and get burnt from spending 5 min in the sun without protection.
You should come to Australia. No matter how much sunscreen you use; you're going to get burnt
Try vinegar on your back. It should help a bit
Is that true?
This sounds weird, but pat Milk of Magnesia on the burn with a cotton ball. Works every time.
Take a bath in lukewarm/cool water. Then mix 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar and 1 cup water in a spray bottle and have someone spray the burnt area. This will help take the sting out. Let it air dry completely and then have someone cover the burns in coconut oil and leave on overnight. Only wear loose clothes. Believe me it works. I recently had a bad sunburn and this got me to pain free in 2 days. (I was still a bit red, but I'm really pale). Another good remedy is to brew a cup of black or green tea, stick it in the fridge until cool or cold and then dab onto the burned area. This really helps as well.
Hey it could be worse my sisters both got severe sunburn on day one of our weeklong vacation they couldn't move because of how painful it was(they used all the previous stated remedies, they helped but it was so bad they needed shots from a doctor)

Aloe vera and ice wrapped in a towel will help soothe most of it. Try cool baths as well. Just DO NOT put the ice directly on your skin because you'll just give yourself freezer burn and no one wants that.
