Content almost refused by staff

Today, I spent two hours washing the dishes. This is because my asshole of a brother would eat extremely small rations of food at a time to create more work for me. My parents didn't even notice. FML

A ration is a unit of measurement that is effectively synonymous with portions. Both refer to an amount of food given to or taken by a person. Ration does have a more military tone to it, but is still perfectly valid as a word choice in this case.
