Today, I learned that my girlfriend's strep throat might have been still contagious, and I may have also contracted it. FML

Step lingers for a loooooong time. Or can, at least. I had about that took something like 6 weeks to clear up- which meant one bottle of antibiotics and two antibiotic shots. If you think you caught it, go to your GP and ask them for a Step throat swab test- most clinics keep them around nowadays. And then make sure to finish out any antibiotics! Good luck with the whole situation.
