Content almost refused by staff

Today, having been given the OK to return to work after 4 unpaid weeks off following an ACL injury, providing I use crutches, my boss is refusing to let me use them as she thinks they are a "health and safety issue". It's not like I need the money anyway. FML

do you work somewhere where you are required to climb and run and there is no way around it? no? I wonder if your boss with think similarly if it was them on crutches

Did you apply for temporary disability? If you're in the US, you should have. It doesn't pay your full wages (about 70%), but it would certainly have helped.
