Content almost refused by staff

Today, after finally scraping together the money to get a marriage license, my fiancée developed a rash and had to use the money for medical care. It's strep. Now I need to scrape together the money again and I might have strep. FML

Maybe set up a GoFundMe or something similar? Or if you are members of a religious organization, ask the person in charge of it if they would be willing to set up a donation drive for you. Hell, you could even ask your employers. Though it would honestly be a good idea to get some money stored away for emergencies first, THEN start saving up for a marriage license, so if something happens you aren't broke because you got the license instead.
