Today, a stray dog came up to my living room window. My pitbull went into attack mode and tried to jump through said window, while it was closed. Now I have to pay to replace the window, and pay to get stitches for my idiot dog. FML

Today, I was just about to sit down to watch my favorite TV show when my dog jumped over the back of my couch, landed on my head and tried to jump through the window. I now have concussion and a window to replace, all because of a bird. FML

Today, my dog chewed through his leash, so I had to take him inside to prevent him from running off. I went to bed. I woke up to torn-up blinds, half-ate sandals, and a very, very anxious cat due to my dog running after her and trying to sniff her butt. FML

Today, my mom's dog saw a cat in our yard. I watched as he tried to jump at it, only to smack face-first into the window. He did this twice more before curling up on the floor and whimpering pitifully. When my mom came in and saw him there, and me laughing, she accused me of beating him. FML

Today, I found myself locked out of my house. I had to squeeze myself through a tiny window around the back. While hanging upside down, my hood fell over my head. My dog ran through to investigate the noise and ravaged me thinking I was a burglar. I then fell and broke my wrist. FML

Adding insult to injury

Today, my mom's super spoiled small demon dog attacked my 3 year-old daughter, mauling her leg. Out of instinct, I kicked it away, causing it to fly across the room yelping. I picked up my daughter and took her straight to the hospital, where she got stitches. Later that night, I was greeted with a vet bill. FML

Today, while on my run, I was attacked by my neighbor's new dog. It apparently didn't like me running past their house and broke free from its chain. I now have stitches and was just told that I'm probably being taken to court for the emotional distress I caused her and the dog. FML

Today, I swerved to avoid hitting a dog that ran in front of my car. The dog was fine but I hit a road sign, ripped off my rearview mirror, and cracked my passenger side window. When I got out to examine the damage to my car, the dog growled at me. FML

Thats not true. Like all dogs, it depends on the training. My aunt has a pitbull and it's one of the sweetest dogs I've met.

A chuhuahua can be just as mentally vicious as a pitbull, in fact those little bitches will bite your toes off, but when they do it, it's cute. If a pitbull did the same thing, he's probably have to be put down. Double standards? Yes. And it's pretty damn obvious considering those loving canines are banned from the UK. It's time to unite and fight breedism, their time is now.

If you had trained your dog properly, you wouldn't be having this problem now. You deserve the expenses you've just incurred and, frankly, you DON'T deserve to own a pet.

YDI for not training/controlling your dog well enough. Go watch some Dog Whisperer episodes or go see a dogtrainer. Also, why did you feel the need to mention your dog is a pitbull? That kind of makes it seem like you want the pitbulls bad name to grow, or that you kind of want to brag about having a pitbull. Both is not really cool.

that sounds like more of a case of idiot owner than idiot dog. you can train dogs not to be aggressive at the sight of other dogs. step up, youre gonna get yourself, your dog, another do, or another person hurt because of your negligence.
