Oh gosh, it's just a phase! Haha I went through it and am so embarrassed with how I dressed to fit the image. I'm glad I grew out of it though. You should just tell your daughter to get her to stop if she is a stereotypical emo chick, "Satan hates you too, love." hahahahaha

Its just a phase, I agree with whoever said you shouldn't be bitching out your kids. She's doing it for a reason. I went through an emo stage and I don't regret it at all! Kids need to go through these stages, its all part of them growing up! P.s "at least she didn't turn ELMO" brilliant ahahaha.

Well, there are worse ways of rebelling. Could be a fad, could be that she's trying to tell the world something. Just keep an eye on her and find out if there are any major issues upsetting her.

The sad part about this is seeing all the stereotypes.. Emo is a fashion and it shows that you're different, not that you cut yourself. I get called emo all the time, do I cut myself? No. So stfu and let her dress how she wants. And it's not very mature for a parent to come on here and write this about her kid.

Yes thats very true.. I get called emo all the time and i dont cut myself, just because we dress in black and listens to screamo doesnt mean we cut ourselves.. People need to get it right.
