Today, I tried inviting my new pregnant coworker to a crepery and I was excited that I could be able to hang out with another pregnant woman like myself. She says "Ah, ok. My aunt is in town, I'll go with her." Can't tell if I was rejected or she is oblivious it was an invite. FML

I guess that would depend on how vague your invitation was. Did you say "Let's do lunch there tomorrow, is 12:30pm good for you?" or "This place is amazing, you have to try it!" Because the first example is an unmistakable invitation, the second just sounds like a recommendation.

Today, and in the month since our son was born, my husband has lost interest in fatherhood entirely. This morning, our son had naptime in the kitchen, while he was also in the kitchen on a 2-hour work call, and according to him that was father-son bonding time just because they were in the same room.
