Use your words. Not your lack of them. I got dumped by two guys for not being needy enough (basically not texting/wanting to call multiple times a day). You're probably just not compatible on terms of needs. He clearly doesn't need constant contact and you do. There's nothing wrong with that but you need to make him aware and let the chips fall where they may.
