Today, I have a cold and need to blow my nose all the time. The problem is that every time I blow my nose, I get a nosebleed. When I breathe through my mouth, I have a coughing fit. So I have to choose between not breathing, coughing up mucus, or blowing blood. FML

I never said she didn't need to breathe. I told her to get some medication like a normal person. And yeah, I know it's not nice....but I'm not a very nice person....at least not until this darn baby pops out and my hormones go back to normal [:

put a humidifier or vaporizer in your bedroom. in the winter, the dry air doesn't just dry out your skin and your hair, it dries out your nose too. that's why you are having nose bleeds. you can buy menthol stuff for a vaporizer and it will help clear up your nose too

Have your nasal conchas checked. Sometimes they grow too large and then rub against the opposing wall (the nasal septum), causing bleeding.
