Today, while on vacation, I realized my parents and grandparents had been running off and doing quite a few errands lately. After doing some sleuthing, I discovered they were taking turns having blood-curdling sex in our other hotel room down the hall. FML

I think it's awesome that your parents and grandparents are still passionate about each other in that way. My parents aren't...they've slept in separate rooms for years and seem to be going through life merely as companions (almost friends?). Let's just hope that passion runs in the family, for your own happiness down the road :)

My dad has slept on the couch since I was about 5 [I'm 23 now]. . .I haven't even seen my parents hug, ever. . .All my mom does when my dad is not around is complain about his habits and all my dad does when she is not around is complain about her habits. . .I've never, ever seen them have a conversation that didn't involve them getting mad at each other. Frankly, for years I've felt the only reason they're together is to keep our family together [I have younger brothers and sisters in High School].

Ironically enough, when people stay together only 'for the kids', they will make their kids lives often harder than if they just divorced. There are many people with parents like 35 and 37, and I bet you would prefer a divorce and two happy parents than a bad marriage with two mad parents.

Even more ironically is that they didn't see that coming in the first place. They could at least try to see a marriage counselor... My parents are divorced, but it didn't really bother me one bit. Why? Because I saw it coming and just accepted it.
