This is a tricky one. Your daughter is a legal adult and capable of making her own decisions, and fortunately she's being responsible. But, if she's still living under your roof, it's a "my house, my rules" thing and she should respect that. Her decision to elope was pretty hasty, when she could have just simply moved out and nothing else. So I'm not entirely sure where the fault lies on this one.
You grounded her -- an 18 year old -- for being responsible, like an ADULT?
An 18 year old adult using condoms sounds pretty responsible. Grounding a responsible adult sounds childish.
She's an adult having safe sex with her lover, you shouldn't ground her for that.
