Aha, this one made me chuckle. I've seen some people telling the OP to dump her/his husband because he's "lazy." I disagree. OP, you should talk this out with your husband and calmly tell the bastard that the cats are old enough to take care of themselves. Leave food out for them before you leave for work or something.
