I've been in a couple of bands. Experienced some rather questionable behavior, but never anything that extreme. I'd say have the band take a week or two off and find yourself a new singer. Maybe even disband and reform under a new name. I don't think you'll ever get out from under the stigma of "singer ***** on stage." People just don't forget that kind of thing.
