Tons of people take birth control. Hell, I'm a lesbian and I take it to regulate my hormones/period/migraines. The real FML is that you haven't had sex in six years.

It's kindof sad that everyone says "ohhh, it sucks that you haven't had sex in six years" There is a ton of people that never have because they don't want to. I'm not having sex until I'm married. And I'm fine with that. so honestly anyone can survive without having sex. It's not that big of a deal.

I've been taking it for 10 years, even though my chances of naturally conceiving are less than 10% due to a medical condition that leaves me in horrendous pain unless I take the pill. There goes that last 10%. FML

I have been fixed, as they say. But my dr still makes me take them for my irregular periods. It suck, but it works.

You aren't. I took it for many years for regulation. I have to say, 10 month long periods are a bitch :)

I only take it to regulate my period. Many other women use it for reasons besides contraception.
