Today, the woman I'm training at work asked, while staring intently at the keyboard, "Now, which one of these buttons is the space-bar again?" She is 80 years-old, types about one word per minute, and I have just one week to get her completely trained. FML

You have to have patience with old people. Not being from the electronic generation, I'm impressed that she even knows what a computer is.

F her life for you being an impatient asshole. Anybody realize what the economy is like nowadays? It's sad when the elderly have to get jobs when the should be retired. Just like the rest of us she works to get a paycheck, because she needs to support herself. At least she got a job and is trying, unlike most people who do nothing, complain, and expect everything to be handed to them.

Yeah it's sad that she has to get a job but F his life too. When she can't do her job well don't you think it's going to make the OP look bad? it's not the OPs fault that someone that is clearly incapable of doing the job is hired. OP has a right to be upset because when this old lady doesn't learn enough in the week to be decent at the job people are going to look right at them. Good for the lady to try to support herself of she got a job that she clearly does not deserve and that someone who is capable and needs a job got passed over as well for her
