Today, my social anxiety hit a new low. I was playing bingo and, although I won, I didn't shout "bingo" because I thought too many people would look at me. FML

No that's a legitimate fear. Personally, I've been known to lunge at/sick my tiger on people who beat me in bingo. You were right to purposely lose.

We used to play bingo with subject key words at high school, and when I won I had the same problem, that sucks :(

I once played with my bulimic girlfriend sitting next to me. When I got the squares to line up, I got so excited I yelled "Binge-o!" I got DQ'ed and became single within ten seconds!

I understand completely! I played bingo once at college orientation and it was a bingo tie, so I was forced into a dance off against three others. I just about fainted on the spot. Next time just give it a shot though, I was embarrassed then but later it was just funny :)
