Today, my little sister had her second son. She is 31 and she named her sons after her favorite television characters, Sam and Dean Winchester. She has made it her life goal to make sure her husband never finds out. FML

Wow you have obviously never watched the show, considering a large portion of the fans are guys. And if people who watch the show have fantasies about the character, that has nothing to do with the content of the show or its quality because it's a damn good show (going strong on its 10th season this month with high rating every season) and it's the people's problem not the show's. You'd be surprise how much it taught me. About family, scarifice and what really matters at the end of the day. Think before you judge

My boyfriend likes the show... And as for the teenagers, you forgot the biggest problem with the whole homoerotic thing: Sam: You know Dean slash Sam? Dean: You mean together? Together together? Sam: Yup. Dean: They know we're brothers right? Sam: Doesn't seem to matter... Try living with 2 20 years olds who argue who is best ship Wincest or Destiel.

Ugh. I hate the shippers/shipping!! Especially the Wincest. Orlando Jones is a big shipper of Destiel though. OP, as others have pointed out, this is not just a chick show. Yes, there are "fans" out there who only watch b/c Jared and Jensen are attractive but it is a damn good show. My husband likes it and our first convention was to a Supernatural convention where we got pics with Jensen and Misha. One of my guy friends finally started watching it and burned through the first 8 seasons in less than a month and absolutely raves about it. It may be a CW show but it is so completely different than the horrendous love triangle chick flick shows that the CW normally puts out.
