Today, my little brother learned that breaking a glow stick and emptying it into someone's eyes does not help them see in the dark. It's a good lesson, I just wish he hadn't used my eyes to learn it. The doctor says the burning feeling should go away in 3 or 4 days. FML

Today, I attended my wife's cousins wedding. While trying to help struggling teens with fireworks, I got shot in the eye by a commercial-grade firework. I spent the rest of the night in the ER, then headed to see the eye doctor. I have about 75% of loss of vision. Hopefully it's not permanent. FML

Today, I was roasting marshmallows around a campfire when mine burst into flames. I instinctively shook the stick to get it to go out. The flaming marshmallow then catapulted straight into my eye, burning my whole eyelid. FML

when i was little i broke one and it exploded in my eyes and when you turned the lights on my eyes glowed, my mom just rinsed my eyes out and i was fine. but it did burn and that sucks for you

haha that sooo weird cuz just last night i got glowstick in my eyes too!!! and i had to go to the hospital and it was cuz of my little sister!!! only the burning stopped after a while... and the doctor just tested for some scratches on my eyes... but thats soo weird how that happened to you too....

I used to intern in a kindergarten class and this one girl kept eating those things. The teacher was beyond angry because, apparently, they're toxic. Oh what fun that was.
