Are you an insufferable jerk when menstruating?
#19: I have PCOS and I have horrible cramps because of it and let me tell you, I have had the cysts burst during my period and I had to be hospitalized because of it. I also have PMDD which is a lot worse than regular PMS. Unless you have experienced horrible physical or emotional pain from your period, you have no right to tell us that we are overexaggerating.
this is my response to knowing a GF's period day: i leave a note on the counter saying i've put her favorite ice cream in the freezer, there's half a pizza in the fridge, and i've barricaded myself in my den until it's over.
Why doesn't he just get a period tracker app on his phone for you? I know a guy who does that so he knows without even having to ask his girlfriend.
damn how bad are you on your period? if he needs to stay away like that. ... you might be at the level of throwing things
Maybe you should just control your emotions like an adult and stop being a fire breathing dragon and blaming it on your period.
How do you know it's not just the boyfriend making a big deal out of nothing? He's the one blaming her emotions on it, not her, and it could just be that he's a dick, and not a hormonal thing.
clever man
If there's honest to God an app for this I'm gonna lose it by laughing my ass off
There are several apps to track your period. It is a hell of a lot easier than using a calender.
The one I have lets you track any symptoms as well and their severity. It helps if you need to talk to your doctor about anything and you are forgetful.
Bit of a red flag there OP - if he can't love and respect you regardless of the time of the month, he's probably going to be just as disrespectful in other aspects of your relationship too.
I don't see the problem here. I have always tracked my period and let my significant other know which week I was going to be a little more emotional.
Mostly the "stay the hell away from" op part.

I would have responded with "if you ever ask that again, all of them."
He should man up and love you every day of the month. Besides, I don't get what guys get so freaked out about. A period means that you aren't pregnant! If I were a guy, I'd be thrilled every month to get this news!
