Today, I went on a date with a guy that I really like. At the last minute he informed me a friend would be tagging along. To keep his friend from being a third-wheel, I kept up a conversation, and managed to piss my date off. He thought I would be a better match for his friend. FML

Should've just stuck to actual date rule and not bring his friend along.

That really sucks, OP. I don't know why he bothered to take you on a date if he wasn't even interested. Perhaps you WILL be a better match? :D Seems you two got along pretty well anyways. Regardless, I hope you have better dating luck from now on!

Gives a whole new meaning to the term double date

Hay, it could have been worse. They could have ignored you and made you the third wheel.

So first he's so inconsiderate that he brings a third wheel on your date, and then HE makes a scene about it? Looks like he has the IQ of a frog.

**** him his own damn fault

He probably didn't even think it was a proper date.

This surely isn't a YDI -- but HE sure deserves it :x You deserve much much better, Good luck!

I'm sure if you explain that you were just trying to make his friend feel included that he will understand. I'm sure there's a reason he brought him. if he got jealous then he obviously likes you, so it's not like he brought him so it wasn't a date. as long as you let him know you are interested in him and not his friend, it should be fine.
