Today, I was on a date with a guy I really like. Everything went well, and then he wanted to kiss me. As he leaned towards me, I got slightly panicky and ducked out of the way, causing him to headbutt the car behind me. Now we know why I'm still a virgin. FML

It wasn't, they were not even in a car, let alone one that was moving. From how it's written, she was leaning against (or standing very near) a stranger's car.

I hope my daughters have the same reaction. there are a lot of young people rushing into things. and a lot of it has to do with peer pressure. if the moment is right, you wont have time to panick, you wont be thinking. it will just happen. the fact that you hadntime to think, to react, saysbit wasmt the right time. NOTHING wrong with being a virgin. yes, sex can be fun. but, honestly, it doesnt get really good until later in life, when both parties are mature. and when both parties have an understanding, almost a desire, to please each other, as much as they want to get pleased. wait for the right moment. it will mean so much more to you. and best of luck OP :)

I didn't read it as necessarily a momentum or excess speed issue on his part. He could've just had his eyes closed, making it hard to tell she had ducked. It could be either, both are probably a little socially awkward (and possibly young/inexperienced). That's a teachable moment/self correcting mistake ha.
