Today, after many months of physical therapy for my broken ankle and months of going to college with crutches, my doctor suddenly noticed that my bones hadn't grown together properly. I'm going to have to have another surgery and redo my entire year in college. FML

I think OP means another torturous year on crutches, not the redoing the same classes. I wish I had advice OP, I spent my entire senior year of college on crutches, going through surgeries and doing physical therapy. It suuuuuuuucks!! Best wishes and hopefully you heal quick!

An X-ray should have been done after your cast was on and before being release and along your healing process Orthopedic Dept should have known this
