When I was in HS my mom bought me the phone I wanted as a reward for dumping the guy she did not want me to be with. At least you got the reward n not him but coulda been a guilt gesture on her part in that she may have done some heavy persuading in his decision to dump ya. Sorry but honestly you deserve better
